Frequently Asked Questions
How does SkyScope identify the sky?
Take a clear night-sky photo. SkyScope uses the image, timestamp, and optional location to identify likely constellations, bright stars, planets, and moon details.
Does SkyScope need location access?
Location is optional but improves accuracy. If you decline, SkyScope still analyzes the image without coordinates.
Does SkyScope make astrology readings?
No. SkyScope is an astronomy and skywatching reference tool. It does not generate horoscopes or astrology claims.
Can it identify every object in the sky?
No. The app is best for common naked-eye objects in clear photos. Telescope-only objects, clouds, or blurry images may be uncertain.
Is my sky photo stored on your servers?
No. Photos are processed by the AI service and discarded after the response is delivered. Saved scans stay on your device.
How do I cancel or refund a subscription?
Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, or contact Apple Support directly.
